and from that state, even success felt like a cage
Decades of pushing through anxiety

Frustration simmered under the surface
Insomnia and exhaustion were normal
Drinking with friends to wind down,
working to fund my lifestyle
and spending to feel in control
I was praised, respected, and successful
and completely out of alignment
I’d stayed in the business
because the identity Iโd builtโฆ depended on it
It took breaking everything down
emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually
and rebuilding from the inside outโฆ
To reach a place where walking away
wasnโt about loss – it was liberation
I didnโt need a new business to feel fulfilled
What I needed was a new way of BEING
One that wasnโt reactive
or “addicted” to performance
An IDENTITY that allowed calm, clarity, and presence
and power to coexistโฆ success on my terms
Thatโs what nervous system regulation
integration – ego – emotional
and reclaiming my true self gave me
The truth is, not everyone needs to walk away from
their business or career, like I did

stress responses and unresolved emotions
