Moving Out of Survival & into Creation

When the specialist at the hospital, told me I would have problems re-gaining my muscle mass.

Due to the amount of damage my liver had sustained, I told him I’d prove him wrong – I weighed 10st 7lbs.

Another doctor said, I would likely have difficulty balancing.

While my GP, also told me, when I couldn’t remember people’s names, was regularly slurring and stuttering.

I sounded alright to him, however, there was always the possibility, that I could have brain damage.

There was no way, I would accept any of these diagnoses, without first attempting to gain muscle and retrain my brain.

I wasn’t curling up into a ball, getting stressed and angry.

About what the world and everyone in it, had done to me this time.

I’d made a decision, I could no longer live the way I’d been living, accepting the way I felt about myself and everything I was being told.

Without consciously taking action, to change the outcome.

Where I’d spent over two decades, focusing on fighting people, placing all my energy in completely the wrong place, and basically destroying everything I ever loved.

It was now time, to focus on what could be achieved.

To place my energy firmly in that direction, to give up, on living in survival.

Where that’s all we see, is the worst-case scenario.

That nothing good, can possibly come off this, why are we bothering to do it anyway…

My body, brain, and mind are now balanced.

They work together, for me, not against me.

The healing inside, bleeding, the ulcer and varices, all gone without any medication.

Our body, brain, and mind, the system’s innate ability to heal.

Surgery on my clavicle, the metal plate, and screws, recovering without painkillers.

The autonomic nervous system, that we all have.

But, don’t choose to use, it because we are focusing on fear, becoming stressed.

The mountains I’ve walked on, the thirty-plus thousand miles, cycling.

It’s doubtful this would have been achieved without balance.

The reason, I broke my collarbone in two, I focused on the wrong thing.

It’s imperative, that we focus on how things will work out positively, for us.

That everything will be fine, to be calm, not panicking.

To trust, our own inbuilt systems are fully capable of looking after our well-being when we are healthy.

Allow this to happen, by being aware, and staying safe, while eating nutritional foods, but not overreacting.

Chronic Stress, anxiety, and the way we are living our lives are keeping us stuck in a state of survival.

The stress response is ” designed ” to be an adaptive system, helping our system as a whole find balance.

Unfortunately, when we live in survival, the system, isn’t able to deal with our health, it’s too busy fighting perceived threats in the external environment.
