“This is Jason, he should be Dead”

to which I replied…

If I “should be dead“, don’t you think I would be.

This was a conscious response,

not a REACTION; there was no anger

or a need to convince the audience.

Everything I discuss comes from

regulation and integration,

resolution, not reliving unresolved wounds…

It really does depend on what you believe,

does everything happen for a reason…

I’ve witnessed, lived the destruction of death, my own pain, the pain it’s caused others…

I believe I survived to share my experience, another coach (trauma) said…

“Some of us are born into this”.

After I mentioned generational,

prenatal/preverbal trauma…

…adverse childhood experiences,

negative life experiences,

trauma,

near-death experiences,

burnout, depression, collapse.

Decades of living in overdrive, chronic stress, low-level anxiety, anger, frustration, fighting,

and being prepared to keep overriding what my whole system was screaming at me,

until I was completely exhausted,

and had nothing left to give…

This is what happens when you are living in sympathetic dominance,

which moves to functional freeze; living in these nervous system states is unsustainable.

This post demonstrates that you can regain homeostasis, balance, and calm in your system.

Which means your whole system can deal with stressful situations and return to its new baseline.

Seamlessly flowing between the two branches of your autonomic nervous system,

the sympathetic (fight/flight/freeze/fawn)

and the parasympathetic (rest/digest/heal).

When I found this level of coherence across my system,

I was in a position to carry out my plan to take over our business.

To win the 20-year systemic war I’d been living against my business partners,

(Your Autonomic Nervous System doesn’t know the difference

between a business partner or your mother-in-law.)

The new identity I’d constructed, along with my state of being, gave me access to a way of

analysing potential or probable outcomes

that had previously been primarily driven from a survival state.

More importantly, to understand what I deeply wanted in life, and where that comes from.

This led me to recognise that I’ve survived the life I’ve lived…

predominantly fuelled by cortisol, adrenaline, sugar, and alcohol…

… I have a responsibility to help others who want to stop living in SURVIVAL,

as their health and enjoyment of life deteriorate,

create the life that they love living, this is success on your terms.

This is “The Conscious Edge”.

The “benefits” of almost dying and surviving are that I can share my knowledge,

so that others don’t have to live through the experience.

Being a High Achiever,

I rebuilt myself and my life from scratch, developing and using my own model,

and then went on to explore many other avenues/models of change.

It’s why I discuss throwing your blueprint in the bin, I’ve witnessed them keeping people stuck…

…you are unique, must meet yourself where you are with compassion, adaptability, and flexibility.

Or work with someone who is truly regulated, who can meet you where you are.

What do you want your life to look and feel like?

Who must you become to live that life?
